St Michael Prayer in Latin

A Brief History of the Prayer:

The following prayer is a prayer composed by Pope Leo XIII. He composed it after he received a vision of spiritual attacks which would be inflicted on the Catholic Church. St Michael is the patron of the church Militant. This prayer is usually recited after a Low Mass. The Holy Father, Pope Francis asked for the month of October 2018, that the Faithful Recite this Prayer and the Sub Tuum Praesidium. For more on Saint Michael, see this video. English Prayer:

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the malice and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.
